What Is The Best Epilator For You?

Having tried a number of epilators, the first one I would not recommend was the first that ever came on the market back in the 1970s was it?  The Epilady was sheer torture to use and thankfully all modern epilators use a completely different system to remove hair.

The early epilators used a system of springs to drag the hair from your body.  These springs would flex, and when compressed together, they would pull out clumps of hair painfully, leaving you not only in pain, but often with bumps and rashes, and they never pulled out all the hair.  I used to give up and get all the hairs it missed with a razor, causing more irritation, and of course, defeating the whole object of having an epilator in the first place.

It was years before I tried another one, but recently I decided to try a few different epilators to see how they worked these days and I was actually very surprised.  The best epilator – and I am not going to name the brand, mainly because every woman’s experience and hair type is different, was easy to use, took out all the hair and left my skin feeling silk, soft and smooth.  No razor bumps around the bikini line.  That’s what I was looking for the most in the best epilator.  There’s not much point in shaving or removing hair from around the bikini line when you’re left with an ugly rash or a line of bumps.

There are many well-known brands that make epilators, and the choice is very confusing.  If you are looking for the best epilator for your own use, the best epilator should fit comfortably in your hand, I prefer a larger one – some of them are so small they make my hand ache.  I don’t care about the color either – I am certainly not a fan of pink!  Some are nearly oval in shape and those are the ones I don’t like personally, although they may work perfectly well for you.
